  1. Does the staff at Villa Antea speak English?
    Yes, all the members of our staff speak English, as well as some other foreign languages.
  2. What time are check-in and check-out?
    Check-in is at 2:00pm and check-out is at 11:00am. Guests are permitted to leave their baggage under the care of the concierge both if they arrive before check-in time, and if they leave long after check out.
  3. If I will be arriving late in the evening, is it a problem?
    Absolutely not! We are glad to arrange late arrival for you. we will put the keys of your room in a small safety box for keys under the doorbell. This way you can get in the house by yourself and we will do the check in the next day. We ask you please to let us know in advance the time of your arrival.
  4. What services are included in the price?
    Prices are inclusive of breakfast, service, internet Wi-Fi connection and 10% Vat. Not included the Florence City Tax, Euro 3,00 per night per person, to be paid in cash upon checkout.
  5. What kind of breakfast is offered and at what time?
    Breakfast is served between 8:00am and 10:00am. A varied buffet of sweet and savory food, also including: fresh fruit salad, muffins, croissants plus an Italian pastry, 4 different cheeses, 3 different kind of ham and salami, yogurt, 3 different cereals, biscuits, rusks with all sorts of marmalades, 100% orange juice, coffee, tea, cappuccino, hot chocolate, American coffee and milk. Do not miss to order our specialty: scrambled eggs!
  6. Is it possible to have breakfast served in the room?
    Yes, even though Villa Antea is well equipped with a charming and intimate breakfast room, it is possible to have breakfast served to your room upon request.
  7. Does Villa Antea have access to a parking?
    Yes, we have a small private parking in the courtyard with two parking spots. The rate is 20,00 euro per night.
  8. Is there an Internet Point available for the guests of Villa Antea?
    In the Villa, rooms included, there is a free WiFi Internet connection. If needed, guests might use the desk’s internet point.
  9. What type of facilities are available in the rooms?
    All of our rooms are equipped with the following: private bathroom with XXL shower and hair-dryer, direct phone, air conditioning, in-room safety box, mini-bar and LCD -TV.
  10. Can I specify where I would like my room located or choose a particular room (floor, position, view)?
    Unfortunately we are not able to guarantee a specific room to our guests. This is because we cannot predict which reservations or cancellations we will receive during the period of interest, and with only 6 rooms, matching all the reservations is not simple. Please feel free to state your request during RESERVATION or in your AVAILABILITY REQUEST, we will do our best to accommodate any special request.
  11. Our kids are travelling with us, should we let you know?
    Yes! All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. Children under 2 years stay free of charge in a cot. Older children or adults are charged EUR 35 per night and person in an extra bed. Any type of extra bed or baby cot is upon request and needs to be confirmed by the staff.
  12. Our pet usually travels with us. Are we going to have to leave it at home?
    Small size pets are welcome, we do however ask you to inform us in advance.
  13. How do I make a reservation on-line?

  14. Is the room rate per person or per night?
    Rates are per ROOM, per NIGHT. Breakfast buffet, Tax & Service included.
  15. Which is the way of payment for Best Available Rate bookings?
    For Best Available Rate bookings, the payment of the stay is done directly at Villa Antea before your check out. Reservation must be guaranteed by giving us your credit card number or by sending us a one night deposit by bank transfer. Reservation service is totally costless.
  16. Why are my credit card details requested during the reservation?
    It you book with the Best Available Rate, the details of your credit card are requested only and exclusively to guarantee the reservation. No amount will be charged during this reservation. You will pay directly upon check-out the full amount of your stay. If you book with the Pre-Paid Offer, at the time of the reservation the entire cost of the booking will be charged to your credit card. In case of cancellation it will not be reimbursed.
  17. What credit card types are accepted for guarantee/deposit?
    We accept only Visa and Mastercard.
  18. What is the cancellation policy on my Best Available Rate reservation?
    No charge will be done on the credit card for cancellation or modification of your reservation if communicated within 12am of the 8th day before the arrival date. From the 7th to the 3rd day there is 1 night fee. Delayed cancellation or neglect to cancel will incur in a penalty charge equal to the full stay.
  19. What is the cost for using your online reservation service?
    There is NO CHARGE or service fee to use our hotel reservation service.

    Yes, our staff will assist you in renting the vehicle best suited to your needs (by getting in touch with the main rental companies). We have two bicycles that we rent for free to our guests.
