Everybody listens to the word “Rinascimento” thinks about our wonderful town, Florence.
This exhibition in Palazzo Strozzi is focused on the genesis of Rinascimento in Italy, and great attention is put on the sculpture art (1400 – 1460). An important section is about the discovery of ancient ways of communication during the Renaissance between 1200 – 1300; important referrances to Gothic period.
The masterpieces come from the most famous museums of the world; in August the exhibition will move to Louvre museum, in Paris.
