The Renaissance from Paris to Florence
This exhibition of Villa Bardini tells the story about two museums: the Museum Jacquemart-André in Paris and the Museo Bardini in Florence.
Edouard André and his wife, the painter Nélie Jacquemart and the italian antiquarian Stefano Bardini are the starring of the exhibition.
The fist two, found in Bardini their own "personal agent" and they bought from him hundreds of works and italian masterpieces, which are preserved today in the Museum Jacquemart-André.
These works of the Renaissance period are now shown in this exhibition. Works of artists like Donatello, Botticelli and Paolo Uccello, that returns from Paris to Florence.
